I wasn’t sure what craft to do for the story of The Prodigal Son from the Jesus Storybook Bible until I found a printable mini book the kids could color from Ministry-to-Children.
To make the books we cut out the pictures and words and glued them to a half sheet of construction paper we had folded in half.
By reading the story first and then putting the pictures in the correct order the children really got to know the story better.
The children colored their books after we glued them together.
My two year old likes minimal coloring apparently. 🙂
The kids really liked these little books and I know my two youngest kids enjoyed having me read them to them over and over again.
