Here is a craft that I almost forgot my Sunday school class did to go with the 23rd Psalm story from The Jesus Storybook Bible (affiliate link).
I used the printable shepherd and sheep from Catholic Icing and a printable of the 23rd Psalm (I can’t remember the source).
The story in the book is a paraphrase so I made sure to also read the version straight from the Bible, which is why I used the printable.
The children first colored the shepherd and sheep and I helped them cut them out.
Then, we taped them to toilet paper tubes.
Next, the children glued a “river” I had pre-cut from blue construction paper onto a half-sheet of green construction paper to represent the green pastures and still waters in verse 2.
The children really enjoyed this craft and I know that my son played with his all the next week. 🙂
