Today my son made this lowercase letter I craft. It is an inchworm crawling up a letter i tree.
He used a printable I made to color a leaf and a lowercase letter i. Then we cut them out and glued them to a piece of construction paper.

Letter I Inchworm Printable
Next, my son used an ink pad to color in this capital and lowercase letter I paper. It will go in his alphabet binder.
The page is one that I made a couple of years ago. I will try to remember to scan it in and upload it to this post.
My little guy had fun measuring things to find out how many inches they were. We found out that he is a good 46 inches tall at 5 years old.
The book Inch by Inch by Leo Lionni is a good one to read for this mini unit on inches and inchworms. A little inchworm goes around measuring everything from a robin’s tail to a flamingo’s neck.
Well, that about does it for today. Tomorrow I plan to share our letter I lapbook and then we will be ready to move on to the letter J.
