A few weeks ago I was asked by a reader if I had any Easter ideas. I am sorry it has taken me so long to get a post together, but now that we are well into March I know it is time. First, I wanted to share a few thoughts.
To my family Easter is so much more than candy, bunnies, and eggs. While we do decorate eggs and eat some candy I pray that my children realize the true meaning of Easter. I want my children to know that Jesus died on the cross for them, and that He rose again. That is why we celebrate Easter. So, while the candy is yummy and the eggs remind us of spring and rebirth they are not the focus for us.
With that being said I did do some egg activities when we studied the letter “E”.
As we get closer to Easter I will be posting more ideas and activities. In the meantime, here are some links to sites that have Easter activities. I would love to add to this list. So, if you have links to share please leave me a comment. If it is an appropriate link I will be happy to add it to this list. Thanks!
