Handprint Santas

Yesterday the children made these painted handprint Santas.  I painted their fingers with white paint, part of their palm with skin tone paint, made a white line above that, put red on their thumb and white paint on their thumprint.  Then, I helped them press their handprint onto a 1/2 sheet of green construction paper.

When the handprints were dry the children drew a face on their Santas.  I had printed a Santa poem that they also glued to the paper.  I found this cute idea at Little Giraffes.
