Flower Stamp from Celery

My son painted some roses this afternoon.  I thought they turned out neat and the best part was the “stamp” we used was free.  Actually, I was going to throw it on the compost pile until I remembered a post from Dollar Store Crafts.
Did you read the title and realize what “stamp” we used?  The cut end from a bunch of celery looks surprisingly like a rose.  My son simply dipped it into some paint and stamped it onto a piece of paper.

When he was finished making flowers, my son drew some stems and leaves with green paint.  Then he proceeded to get paint on his hands, his arms and even his shirt.  He had a lot of fun and that is what counts.  Now, what gets paint out of fabric? . . . 🙂
