When Joshua was first diagnosed with food allergies nearly 5 years ago it was quite a shock. I wasn’t sure how to cook for him.
However, my desire to see his health improve was worth every cooking disaster.
While his health and behavior improved while being free of gluten, dairy, egg whites and soy, so did my cooking. 🙂
If you, or someone in your family, has food allergies I just want to encourage you. I know it’s hard, but it does get better. Just try to think of all of the foods that you CAN eat.
While many of my main dish recipes are allergy friendly (I even have a free 10 recipe ebook available), today I wanted to highlight my allergy friendly dessert recipes.
Allergy-Free Desserts

These allergy-free oat chocolate chip cookies are a crowd-pleaser.

Did you know that something so simple like a frozen banana could be turned into dairy-free “ice cream”. It is surprisingly tasty.
Note: I have several more allergy-free desserts to share in the near future and I plan to update this post when I do.
