Homemade Christmas 2011

December was a busy month and my sewing machine sure got a work-out as I worked to complete all of the homemade gifts that needed to be finished by Christmas.

January is always kind of a letdown after working so hard to finish making everything in time for Christmas. I think I am going to have to come up with some new craft projects soon. Until then, I decided to compile a list all of my 2011 homemade Christmas gifts.

I also made quite a few homemade goodies. I don’t have any pictures of what I made this year, but here is a post I wrote last year about Christmas goodies.

Well, that’s about it, I think. I guess I made more homemade gifts than I thought I did. How about you? Did you make any homemade Christmas gifts. Feel free to leave me a link in the comments. I’d love to see what you made.

I saw your picture frame clip holder, and have now done that for Anneke- she loves it! She loves being able to see her clips, and pick out her own to match her outfit. I also can’t wait to try the pocket placemat for my sewing machine. I always seem to hide my scissors from myself, and that looks like it will solve my problem! Thanks for the awesome ideas :)

Thanks, Sara! Sounds like you did a great job on the clip holder. Anneke is such a sweetie. :) Please let me know if you have any questions about the pocket placemat. I want to make sure my directions are clear enough. I totally understand about not being able to find the scissors and other accessories. The placemat should help.
