When the good folks at Bindertek.com contacted me about reviewing one of their binders I was thrilled. Being someone who loves label makers, binders, rubbermaid containers and organizing items of all sorts, I was excited to try out one of their binders. I am always on a quest for organization and have been wanting to put together a useful home management binder for quite some time. This opportunity helped light a fire under me. :)

The Bindertek website was easy to navigate and I really enjoyed their Build-a-Binder section. I was able to pick out the size of binder that best suited my needs, create a spine label, and decide how I wanted my dividers to be labeled.

I chose a 3 inch, 3-ring binder in brick red. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the binder and ease of opening the rings.

When my binder arrived the tabs and spine label were already printed for me. I simply had to put them in my new binder and start filling it up.

My home management binder is still a work in progress. I have printed out some printables from Life…Your Way and from the Organizing Life As Mom Ebook. There are a few printables I haven’t found yet that I may have to create myself. If I do, I will be sure to share them with you.

Would you like to take a peek at my new binder? I have created a video of all of the sections in my binder. It isn’t the most exciting thing ever, so if you are having trouble sleeping I suggest playing the video. :)

Anyway, if you are thinking of creating a home management binder maybe this will help you see that even unorganized people (who quest for organization) can attempt to be organized. Think of it as a policies and procedures manual for your household.

I apologize in advance for the quality and the splicing in the video. I kept getting interrupted by a certain cute 3 year old. (If you are viewing this post in an email or reader, you will have to click over to the blog to view it. )

Do you have a home management binder? I would love to know what kinds of things you put in yours. Also, do you have any good links to printables for your binder?

Disclosure: Bindertek.com provided me with a binder for the purposes of review. No money was exchanged and all opinions are my own.

Thank you for showing us your home management binder. You included a few tabs I never would have thought of. I used to be so organized but over the last two years I have really gotten lazy. I have an empty binder sitting at home so I think this will be a good project to start on after dinner tonight.

Thank you, Katie! How did it go? Were you able to work on your binder?

I didn’t get to work on it :( After I posted this comment I remembered that I had pears to can so that took up my evening. Still going to do the binder though!

Pears definitely take precedence over a binder. :) I love to make pear butter but haven’t had pears to can with in a few years.
