Well, after a long hiatus in which I contemplated whether I would continue with this blog or not, I have decided to keep Pocketful of Posies and continue posting ideas for children. This blog is special to me and I feel good about my decision to keep it going. So, here goes.
Then, he painted over the entire paper with paint and a foam brush. We pulled off the paint and the picture at the top of this post was the result.
My son decided he wanted to make another snowflake with no assistance from me.
His snowflake was a little more abstract than our first snowflake, but he was so proud of it. 
This was a fun and easy activity. I recommend painter’s tape over masking tape. We had made tape paintings another time and found it was harder to peal the masking tape off.
We really haven’t had any snow to speak of this winter, so we are contenting ourselves with snow art projects. How about you?
