Scrap Box

January 26, 2010 By Jackie Leave a Comment

What do you do with scrap paper? Do you throw it away? Do you put it in the recycling bin? If so you may be missing out on a great source of craft materials.

I use a shallow plastic tote box for scrap paper, but any box will do. When I need paper for a craft project I check the scrap box first before using a new piece of paper. Also, children can use the scrap paper to make all sorts of creations. Just give them some scissors, glue, and the scrap box and watch them create.

So, if you are looking for a craft idea that is easy on your budget start saving your scraps and let your child’s imagination do the rest.

Last year I closed my blog Pocketful of Posies. All of the posts from Pocketful of Posies are now in the Activities for Kids category on this blog. Some of the pictures didn't transfer over, but I'm working on it.
