I always have tons of links bookmarked, so I thought I would start sharing them with you on Saturdays with themed link posts. Today is the first of such posts and I thought I would share a few links about natural remedies.
We are getting into the cold and flu season, so I thought this would be a timely topic. If you have links pertaining to this topic please leave me a comment with the links.
Also, I have installed a new comment system with Disqus. I hope that it works for everyone. This new comment form will allow me, and you, to comment on specific comments as well as leave a general comment. Let me know how you like it and of course, let me know if you have any problems with it.
- My friend Abbi over at Proverbs 31 Living has created a list of 10 ways to improve your health that won’t cost you a dime.
- Keeper of the Home has a good post about Using Homeopathic Solutions. If you have never checked out this blog you should because it is a wealth of information about healthy living.
- Frugal Granola has written an e-book called Herbal Nurturing: A Family Healing and Learning Guide that I would like to have. I have entered to win a copy of the book at Keeper of the Home and you can, too.
- Finally, I wanted to share about a homeopathic kit I have been using for the past couple of winters. I purchased a Hyland’s Kid’s Kit
and have enjoyed having homeopathic remedies available in children’s dosages. I used the Ferrum Phosphoricum last night when I had a sore throat and a slightly elevated temperature. My throat isn’t sore today and I never did get a fever.
