What’s New?
The story of this week was all of the rain we received. I think the word was we got about 7 inches.
If you read my garden post on Thursday then you can see evidence of all of that rain.
At this time last year we were in the middle of the drought. It’s almost hard to remember that it even happened. Just look at how different my garden looked a year ago.
In spite of the rain, we have managed to have fun swimming and work on 4-H projects this week. We even attended a church picnic last night complete with fireworks.

I’m not sure what happened but I didn’t take very many pictures this week. However, I think this one is pretty funny.
Those are oven mitts on her feet. Janna loves shoes and will apparently try to turn anything into a pair.
