Week in Review (6-15-13)

What’s New?

We’ve had quite a week. Sunday we headed to a nearby state park and stayed there until Wednesday. My husband had a conference there so we were thrilled to be able to tag along.

We enjoyed beautiful weather and lots of fun activities like walking trails, riding horses for the first time (my 3 boys), splashing and swimming in an indoor waterpark, visiting some shops at a nearby town, and more.

Thursday was a day to recuperate before driving 5 1/2 hours round trip to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine yesterday.

I have wanted to take the kids for the past few years but money was always a factor. This year we were blessed to be able to go and it turned out that the kids were perfect ages for this adventure. We had a great time!

Today we were all supposed to be in a local parade, but Joseph has a very high fever (104.5 just a few minutes ago). So Joseph, Janna, and I stayed at home.

I can’t remember such an action packed week in a long time and I am thankful for safe travels and good health during our times away from home.

Picture of the Week

I took quite a few pictures this week, so it was hard to narrow it down to just one.

This picture was taken at a lookout tower. The view was really beautiful.
