This week I have been pretty quiet in this space. I guess I didn’t have much to tell you. Janna had a rough start to the week with a bad chest cold/earache. She’s feeling much better now and we are both finally getting more sleep.
I did some sprucing up of this site so things may look a little different. It seems like I can never get this blog to look just the way I want it. Hopefully, I will keep it this way for a while so you won’t think you are at a different blog every time you stop by. :)
If you recall, I had a goal of taking at least one picture each day this year. I have failed already. I totally forgot to take any pictures on Sunday. Other than not feeling overly creative photographically speaking, I took at least one picture each day during the rest of the week. Here are some of my favorites.
Monday
On Monday after supper we turned on some music and the kids started dancing. They were having so much fun that I couldn’t help but join in the fun.
On a photography note, check out the pretty sunset I captured in the window.

Janna is pulling up on everything and my husband’s leg was no exception. The only problem was that his shorts had an elastic waistband and almost ended up on the floor. :)

Wednesday
I have been doing quite a bit of crocheting this week. The simpleness of yarn and a crochet hook becoming something useful is one of the reasons I enjoy this hobby so much.

Who is this big girl drawing on my window? It can’t have been too long ago that Julia couldn’t even see out of the window like my little Janna.

Friday
I love soup. This boiling, bubbling concoction is the butternut squash soup I made yesterday.

Saturday
Here’s that little baby again that is so curious. She was almost entirely in the dishwasher trying to reach for a spoon right before I snapped this picture. However, the sound of my camera focusing made her stop what she was doing and flash me that little smile we all love to see.

I hope you had a great week. What did you do this week?
