It is amazing how a thin layer of ice can cause so much disruption. Last night we had freezing rain that has made for dangerous driving conditions, especially on country roads like ours.
That’s alright because we have been warm and snug together in our house. While I would rather have snow than ice, we are making the most of it.
Right now I am getting ready to head downstairs to watch a movie with my husband. We enjoy our fun and frugal in-home date nights. Not what some would consider an exciting Saturday night, but I think it is a perfect way to spend the evening.
