My garden still looks sad. There are lots of weeds and we need rain. However, it is still providing us with produce, specifically tomatoes.
I have been canning spaghetti sauce and I plan to make some salsa very soon. Yummy!
Amazingly, there are still some cucumbers and zucchini growing. I even found two small pumpkins yesterday. Our last row of corn didn’t amount to anything, so I think I will just knock it down.
The back garden spot still has a few butternut squash I am waiting on, and all of the sweet potatoes I am hoping are underground. We will find out in a few weeks.
What is your favorite way to eat or cook with tomatoes? I am always looking for new ideas.
