This week my goal was to get more exercise and to drink at least one cup of water each day.
While I really don’t feel like I made as much of an effort with regards to exercising as I think I should have, I did try to be more conscious of how long I sit at a time.
Blogging, designing websites, helping my husband with various projects, and crocheting all require me to sit quite a bit during the course of a day. My goal is to break up those sitting sessions with short periods of physical activity such as walking or stretching.
My hope is that by summer I will be ready for all sorts of activities like swimming and playing outside with my kids.
One thing I try to remember about my body is that one, I’m not 20 anymore and two, I have given birth to five children. Having flat abs again is a goal, but I know it isn’t going to be easy.
However, if Janna’s idea of last night would work I would definitely give it a try.
BTW, this was totally her idea. I just happened to grab my camera in time.
I think my goal should be to focus on being healthy and not so much about having my 20 year old body back.
With regards to my goal of drinking more water, drinking one cup of water wasn’t hard because I drink mostly water during the day. It won’t probably get hard for me until we hit the five cup mark.
Do you make a point to get exercise during the day? I would love to hear from you about what exercises you do to stay active.
