It’s been two weeks since I started my quest for organization and, while things don’t look more organized on the outside, I am feeling a little more organized.
My first goal was to read from the Bible each day and I am happy to report I met that goal again this week.
This past week my goal was to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night. In order to accomplish this goal I needed to be in bed by 10:30 pm.
From Sunday night until Friday night I got 8 hours of sleep 4 out of those 6 nights. So, while I didn’t meet my goal every night, I do feel like I made positive steps towards making this goal a habit.
The days when I got at least 8 hours of sleep the night before I had more energy and was more focused. While the days when I didn’t get 8 hours of sleep the night before I honestly felt more disorganized and sluggish.
I’m definitely going to try to keep up with this goal and work even harder this coming week to get plenty of sleep.
My family deserves to have me at my best and getting enough sleep is a step in the right direction.
