Welcome to week 1 of my quest for organization. This week’s task is to read from the Bible every day.
In the past I have said that I would read from the Bible for 15 minutes each day but usually feels too restrictive because I find myself either trying to read quickly to get a certain amount read or I feel like I am just watching the clock the whole time I am reading.
This time I am just going to make a goal of reading from the Bible each day.
Whether it be a single verse, a chapter, or even an entire book of the Bible, I simply plan to spend time studying and meditating on God’s word and not get wrapped up in any type of plan.
While I know there are some great Bible reading plans out there, I must be too much of a free-spirit. I want to just go to my Bible and read without placing too many rules on the task.
If you are wondering why the first goal I have set is to read from the Bible it is because I believe that God should be our top priority.
I want to let Him be my guide on this quest for organization.
To help me, and hopefully you as well, stay accountable this week I have created a handy checklist with space to record the verses I have read.
If you would like to print out this checklist simply click on the picture above or on the link below.
