My children have all loved music but maybe none so much as the two pictured above.
As an infant often the only thing that would calm my now 8 year old son down was music. He still loves to dance and sing and was happy to sing with his little sister last week
I wrote a post about music and singing, as it pertains to babies, and even shared a video of me singing to Janna. 🙂
Well, now that my little girl is a toddler she still loves music and singing but now she can do the motions, too. Her favorite song for the past few months has been “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”.
Not only is listening to music fun for toddlers, but there are also many benefits they receive. Here are a few.
Singing and dancing to music helps build a toddlers vocabulary, enhances language skills, boosts memory, helps with gross motor development, can improve a sour mood, and is a great bonding experience for you both.
What is your toddler’s favorite song?
