My preschool Sunday school class is still reading through The Jesus Storybook Bible (affiliate link).
Today’s craft goes with a story about treasure. I wanted the kids to be reminded that gold and silver aren’t the real treasure, but God’s love for us is.
I gave the kids some empty boxes, gold sticker paper, and scissors and let them decorate the boxes however they wanted.
Then I asked the children to color the heart, Bible, cross, and “Jesus” that I had printed out for them. (See the link below to print your own copy.)
When they were finished the kids put their treasures in their treasure chests to be reminded of our story whenever they looked inside.
