I took two Sunday’s to cover the life of Paul with my preschool Sunday school class. I used The Jesus Storybook Bible and broke the story into two parts.
The first section was about Saul’s conversion and how he was blinded for 3 days.
I found a free printable coloring page that I decided to turn into a mini book. (I only printed the first page.)
The children colored the pictures and then we cut them out.
We folded a piece of paper in half and then glued the pictures to it.
I added some text to help the kids remember the story, and I think the books were a good reminder of the lesson.
The next section of the story was pretty short and simply talked about Paul following God and telling others about Jesus. It also mentioned that Paul was shipwrecked three times and was put in prison as well.
As you can see I went with the shipwreck part of the story for our craft.
I cut the waves, half circle, thin rectangle, and large triangle before our lesson. The kids glued everything in place and then drew Paul in the water.
We talked about Paul trusting God even when bad things happened to him.
There is so much more about Paul’s life in the bible, but these are the things that were covered in The Jesus Storybook Bible.
