Yesterday I read my Sunday school class another story from The Jesus Storybook Bible. The story was about Jesus telling the people not to worry because, since God feeds the birds and clothes the flowers, He cares for each of us.
So, I decided to have the kids make handprint flowers and birds for our craft to help them remember our lesson.
It took me a while to trace all of their hands because I had to trace them open for the flowers and closed for the birds. Thankfully, I had pre-cut the grass, stems, leaves, and beaks.
I think the craft turned out really cute and will hopefully help the children remember that God loves them and will take care of them. 🙂
