We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday afternoon with our church family on Sunday. We invited everyone to come for a swimming party/baptism/cook-out. I think everyone that was here had a good time. It was very hot outside, so the water was definitely the highlight of the day for all the kids.

OK. That’s me and I totally know I just embarrassed myself. Oh, well. It was fun!
In addition to all of the fun and food three people were baptised and one renewed his baptism. For the third summer in a row our party has also had an important religious ceremony in the middle of it.
I think this year was special for my family because my new sister-in-law was one of the people who got baptised. Not only that, but my brother renewed his baptismal vows and helped my dad (the pastor) with the baptisms. How awesome to be able to share something like this in their first month of marriage!
Anyway, I just want to take this opportunity to thank God for blessing us with a wonderful family, a great church family, the facilities to host such an event, and the opportunity to gather together in His name.
I know it looks like no one but my family was here, but I decided I would not show any pictures of my church family since I didn’t get their permission first. However, there were at least 40 people here. Our older crowd didn’t come due to the heat, but I still think we had a great group here.
