Hello, October!
September has come to a close and I find myself once again wondering where the time went. I feel like a broken record, but we were as busy in September as we have been the past few months.
Since it is a new month it is time for me to share some of the highlights of September with you.
One thing I noticed when going through my pictures to find my favorites was that I didn’t take very many pictures last month, way fewer than normal. Oops. I guess I will have to do better in October.
It has been about 6 weeks since I last wrote a post about my garden. The weather has been so nice that we have still been getting some decent harvests.
On Saturday I did a little work in the garden and we are down to just tomatoes and sweet potatoes growing. I am hopeful we can harvest the sweet potatoes this weekend.
We are supposed to get some cool weather which means my tomatoes will probably stop growing soon. They have already slowed way down.
Speaking of harvest, this is what the field right beside our house looks like. I imagine my uncle will be here in the next week or two to pick the corn. It will be nice to see to the east again. 
Sometimes my kids argue and fight, but sometimes they get along so well that I just have to capture it on film.
I was so proud of Joshua for reading to Joseph. I just love moments like this.
James turned 12 last month and I really can’t believe it. He is such a nice, smart young man who is loved by his classmates and teachers, as well as his family.
While he is by no means perfect, when I think of how far he has come since he was a tantrum-throwing, hard to understand 2 and 3 year old I could almost cry. Love that boy!

While real life has been busy I have also been working on several websites for clients. Did I ever tell you I design websites? I really enjoy it and I am praying God will allow me to help supply the income we lost when my husband switched jobs.
