I have been sick. đ
Some of my kids have had strep throat twice this winter, the stomach flu, and this last cold/flu bug that went around. I had avoided all of those sicknesses and thought I was probably immune. However, I found out I wasnât when I woke up Sunday morning with a fever.
I spent Sunday and Monday on the couch with a fever and generally felt lousy. I was thankful my husband was able to take care of me and the children those two days. Today I have been able to sit up and actually get off of the couch. I donât feel 100%, but I do feel better.
Today I am 33 weeks pregnant and am so thankful for each kick and reassuring movement of my baby girl. I am even more thankful that she is safe inside of my womb instead of having to live among all of this sickness. I am praying that by the time she is born we are all healthy.
In related pregnancy news, I would like to ask for prayer for my brother and his wife. My sister-in-law is 41 weeks and 3 days pregnant. She spent Sunday night and almost all day yesterday in the hospital trying to induce labor. However, they sent her home because the induction wasnât working. If anyone has any encouraging words or similar experiences to share I am sure they would appreciate hearing them.
