As much as I love to sew I sometimes don’t have time to make everything I want to. So, I purchased a few diapers and covers to help me not get overwhelmed with the task of sewing all the cloth diapers I need for the baby.
I purchased a dozen DSQ infant prefolds from Dianne’s Diapers and a waterproof cover. The prefolds are really nice and they don’t get crunchy on the clothesline. I have been using them to stuff the pocket diapers I have made, but I also like to just pin them on the baby sometimes. I would also recommend purchasing from Dianne. She is so nice and has great customer service.
I also wanted to purchase some birdseye flat diapers. I purchased mine from Little Lions Cloth Diapers. I ordered two dozen flats that were unbleached birdseye. They are so soft. I like to fold them and lay them inside a waterproof cover. They dry so quickly on the line. They measure about 27 inches square.
The Diaper Hyena has some great information on cloth diapering. I have found their pictures and info on diaper folding to be very helpful when using prefolds and flats.
