Janna loves skirts and I love to use upcycled materials to make clothes for her. That is why my latest creation combines a too-short pair of pants with a hand-me-down T-shirt.
The benefit of using a pair of pants for the waistband is that you don’t have to purchase elastic or make a casing, etc. The hardest part of making a skirt is already done.
Janna loves her new skirt and is getting a lot of use out of it. My favorite part is that it didn’t cost me a dime to make.
