Good evening. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you are gearing up to have a wonderful 2013.
We have had a fun week and I am so glad I took a break from blogging to focus on my family.
There have been snowmen to build, snowballs to throw, hot chocolate to drink, gifts to open and play with, and memories to make during the past week.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the past 2 weeks since I didn’t post any pictures last weekend.
The big news the past few days has been the snow. My oldest three have especially loved playing in it. Since we barely got any snow at all last winter, the white stuff has been a welcome addition to our Christmas break.
I don’t know if any of you remember why I started these weekly, or sometimes not so weekly, picture posts. I actually started out on January 1st with the goal of posting a picture every single day of 2012.
By the end of January it was clear I wasn’t going to be able to keep it up. So, I switched to a weekly picture post.
Sometime in the fall I made it even easier on myself by posting a collage instead of individual pictures.
While I didn’t take a picture every single day this past year, I did take more pictures than ever before and really only had a few days when I didn’t take a picture at all.
Even though I changed my original picture posting guidelines to fit my life and schedule, I still feel like I accomplished my goal.
Side note: If you are really bored, here is the whole photography category on my blog. 🙂
I think for 2013 I will try to post a picture of the week on Saturdays. I still plan to try to take a picture each day, but a picture a week to post will be more manageable, I think.
If you are reading this via email or in a feed reader you won’t notice unless you click over, but I did make some aesthetic changes to this little old blog of mine.
I plan to make some more tweaks during the coming weeks so that information will be more accessible. Since I don’t have a team of people working for me, anything changes made happen when I have the time and knowledge to do them. 🙂
