I think I am getting to be a little obsessed with making cloth diapers for the new baby. I keep looking at all of the fabric I have laying around, and I keep wanting to make more diapers. Here are two of the latest diapers I have sewn. They were made using the one size fitted RRP pattern.
This first diaper’s outer fabric is a Noah’s Ark fabric my husband’s aunt gave me. I had never figured out what to do with it, so I made 2 diapers from it.
The outer blue fabric of this second diaper is also from my husband’s aunt. I embroidered a bear appliqué onto the back of that diaper just for fun. I used suedecloth as the fabric for the appliqué.
The inside of both diapers is a brown alova suedecloth I bought on sale at Joann Fabrics. It is supposed to be good at wicking moisture away from the baby’s bottom.
The thing that is great about these diapers is that I didn’t have to sew any type of closure on them. I will just use a diaper pin.
