I have been trying to keep most of our meals very simple. Each week I am also trying to make sure that I serve fish and chicken at least once per week. I have been feeling like I am in a rut, so on Saturday I am going to try a new recipe from A Year of Slowcooking.
I am still enjoying the menu planning and definitely wouldn’t go back to the old way for anything now. I can breathe a sigh of relief each night because I already know what I am going to cook. Here is what’s on the menu for this week.
Supper Meal Plan
Sunday-Leftovers
Monday-Tuna Noodle Surprise (The surprise is that they may not realize it is tuna and not turkey or chicken.), Tossed Salad, Peaches, Cheesy Broccoli
Tuesday-Sloppy Joes on Buns, Macaroni and Cheese, Baked Beans, Carrot & Celery Sticks, Mandarin Oranges
Wednesday-Baked Fish, Baked Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Cornbread, Fruit Cocktail
Thursday-Zucchini Casserole, Corn, Pears, Bread and Butter
Friday-Tacos or Taco Salad, Refried Beans, Apple Slices, Chips and Salsa, Carrot & Celery Sticks
Saturday-Crockpot Applesauce Chicken (This will be our first time to try this.), Baked Butternut Squash, Brown Rice, Tossed Salad
