Today my son had fun painting with a feather. I always enjoy figuring out what he can paint with that starts with the letter we are studying. The poor boy may not even know what a real paintbrush is, though. 🙂
This week our color is purple. I realized, right before it was time to paint, that I had run out of purple paint. So, I squirted some red and blue paint onto a paper plate and we had a little lesson about color mixing.
My son painted his folder, which I will be sharing more about on Friday. He also painted every square inch of his hands.
While we had the feathers out, I had my son glue feathers onto a letter F page I printed from DLTK.
This page will go in his alphabet binder.
I would say feather painting was a success, purplish hands and all. 🙂
Has your child ever painted with a feather?
