Last Monday I ordered the KCK One Colossal Kit. The pattern came in PDF form the same day. The kit, which included all of the supplies needed to make three waterproof pocket diapers, arrived Wednesday. I was so excited to get started. I finished the first diaper on Friday and the other two on Saturday. The process went pretty quickly because for each step I did what was required for all three diapers instead of completing one diaper before starting the next.
The great thing about this diaper is that it is designed as a one size fits most diaper. I am hoping they will fit the baby until he is potty trained. I am happy with the way they work. I think my sewing could be better, especially on the welt pocket in the front (where the insert goes), but that will hopefully come with practice. I hope to make more of these. I think they will work well when we are out and about.
