During 2012 and over half of 2013 I was doing a weekly post about what was happening in our lives complete with my favorite pictures. That got kind of tedious and I wasn’t sure that it was interesting enough, so I stopped.
However, I thought that this year I would share a monthly post to keep you updated on what is happening with me and my family.
It’s hard to believe that January has almost come to an end. I have to say it has been a very full month for our family. Basketball games, practices, snow days, school, crafting, watching movies, laughing together, and more.
What better way to share more about our lives than through pictures, right? Here are some of my favorites.
We began the new year with a major snow event and my kids enjoyed playing outside with the huge snowflakes falling all around.
I love this picture of my husband standing on a big pile of snow while Joshua looks on.
Joseph and Janna had fun playing with some toys we had put away for a while. You would have thought we had new toys.
Janna thinks that if she closes her eyes tightly no one can see her. I love that face!
I decided to post a picture (almost) every day this month on Instagram. I only have an iPod Touch and not a smart phone, so that means the quality of the pictures isn’t great.
Still, it has been fun not to have to take pictures off of my camera, edit them on my computer, and then share them.
Here are some of the pictures I shared this month (in reverse order).
Head over to Instagram to follow along with me there and to read my captions.
This month I tried to be more active with social media, but I’m still not great at it. I did; however, seem to hit a nerve with one question I posted on Facebook. It was my most viewed and commented on post ever. Click here to find out what it was, and follow along with me there if you aren’t already.
I also wrote a few blog posts this month which is a good thing considering that is why I have this site.
