On Sunday, my preschool Sunday school class made handprint bald eagles. I had seen the idea at Family Fun where they had used paint on a T-shirt. I decided we would do a simplified version using construction paper.
We cut out 2 handprints out of brown construction paper with their fingers open. Then I had them close their fingers and I traced around them, leaving off the thumb, and added a curve at the palm to serve as the head. I also cut out a yellow beak.
Tracing around 14 month old Janna’s hands was not the easiest task. However, look at how cute her little handprints are. 🙂
The eagles all turned out slightly different, but I think they are cute. The Bible verse we talked about was Isaiah 40:31.
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
