I ordered the Spinnies 3 pack that is on sale right now at Let’s Explore for my three boys as stocking stuffers. The Spinny Speller will be for my oldest son, the Spinny People will be for my middle son, and the Spinny Critters will be for my littlest guy. I am anxious to see how they like these, but will wait until Christmas. I am sure they will share them with each other, or at least I hope they will. 🙂
Here is what the website has to say about the Spinnies.

Spinny People: Three four-sided blocks spin to make 3 dozen “jobs”. The starting professions are cowgirl, football player, doctor, and a fire fighter.

After I had ordered these I read a post by Little Hands, Big Work on how to make a DIY Spinny Speller. Since I try to make most of the gifts we give our children I was disappointed I didn’t think about making my own. Regardless of whether you buy a Spinny or make your own I think they will provide much learning and enjoyment.
Does your child have a Spinny? I would love to hear what you think of it.
