I’ve been sticking with my plan to not purchase any new yarn until I use up all that I have on hand.
I’m beginning to think my yarn has been multiplying when I’m not looking because I feel as if I many never use it all, even after everything I crocheted last month and this month.
The biggest project of the month was another ripple afghan. This one measures 46 inches wide by 64 inches long.
I used the neat ripple afghan pattern from Attic24.
I chose to use some chocolate brown yarn I had purchased for over 50% off several years ago and some cream yarn that had been given to me.
It’s not the prettiest thing I have ever made but it should keep someone warm.
I also made a baby afghan by first crocheting 12 inch squares and then using a slip stitch to crochet them together. The afghan measures 36 inches square and will hopefully be a nice size for a child through the toddler years.
I had a skein of really soft baby blue yarn that I turned into five newborn hats using the hat pattern from Jaime D. Designs.
When I have more baby hats crocheted then I will donate them to our local hospital.
With some of my scraps I made a magic ball of yarn. I need to add more scraps to the end and make it longer but I thought I would give you a sneak peek. I will share a tutorial when I get the scarf finished. It will definitely be one of a kind.
I also made some 5 inch by 4 1/2 inch rectangles that I have the intention of turning into something, maybe an afghan if I get enough.
Well, that’s the end of my craftiness for this month. What projects have you been working on?
