Our garden is still going strong and I know it won’t be long until we are enjoying fresh produce. We have loved having fresh lettuce this week. I think I need to do succession planting next year so we don’t get too much at once. I’m not complaining about our good harvest though.
As you can see the plants are starting to really fill in all of the blank areas in my garden.
My zucchini plants are loaded with blossoms and little zucchinis. My kids keep anxiously waiting for them to be ready.
The cabbage plants are forming nice sized heads. I am ready for some fresh cole slaw! I may freeze some for use in vegetable soup as well. It will still be a few weeks before they are ready.
I have broccoli heads forming on many of my plants. They just need to get a little bigger. We will eat some and freeze the rest for later.
Look at what I found on one of my tomato plants! I am excited to finally have some little green tomatoes forming.
My back garden plot looks much better than last week thanks to the 45 minutes I spent weeding it last Wednesday afternoon.
My potato plants keep getting taller and I still need to add even more dirt around them. They are starting to bloom, but I am not sure how much longer it will be before they are finished growing.
Well, that’s a look at my garden this week. How is your garden growing this week?
