My family loves it when I make a roast with potatoes and carrots cooked alongside. However, with the hot summer temperatures I don’t love heating up the house with the oven. So, I decided to use my crockpot to make this tasty dish recently.
It turned out wonderfully and it was so easy.
Have you ever put potatoes in the crockpot before with other ingredients and had them get spots on them or be discolored? I have, but not this time. I think it may have something to do with the way I layered the ingredients.
If you would like to make this meal, here is the recipe.

Notes
I use a 6 quart slow cooker to make this recipe for my family of 7. You can use more or less of each ingredient depending on your family size and preferences.
