Crocheted Hat and Scarf

October 5, 2009 By Jackie 1 Comment

I started this hat and scarf set a few weeks ago and finally finished it this past weekend. It will be a Christmas present for my daughter. She loves pink and thought the yarn was so soft when she saw me crocheting with it.

The yarn came from a friend who gave me three small skeins. It is a 98% acrylic and 2% polyester boucle yarn that is super soft and bumpy. I had no pattern for the scarf, and the hat was done in the round. For both I used a double crochet stitch and a J hook.

I am happy to have another Christmas project completed. I hope this set will keep my daughter warm on cold days this winter.
