Clean Kitchen Days: Wash the Walls

January 20, 2012 By Jackie Leave a Comment

Today’s task was to clean the kitchen walls and any wall decor. That meant that any pictures or other decorations plus the walls themselves needed to be cleaned.

Since I went grocery shopping this morning, I knew I needed to have an easy task. Washing the walls was a pretty quick job and only took about 15-20 minutes.

When I wash walls I use a vinegar and water solution. Basically, I just put some water and vinegar into a small bucket and dip a rag into it. Then, I wipe down the walls. I also used the same solution to clean everything you see in the picture below.

My kitchen is really starting to feel clean now. Next week I will clean all woodwork and cabinets as well as the appliances and floor. I am really glad I split this job into smaller parts. It isn’t so daunting that way.

Do you have anything hanging on your kitchen walls? My favorite thing we have hanging up is a picture of our family. It helps me remember why I am doing all of this work in the first place. 🙂
