Charge Your Devices on the go with Powerocks (Review & Giveaway)

Note: I received a Powerocks Magicstick for the purpose of review. No monies were exchanged and all opinions are 100% mine. As a result of my review you will have the chance to win your own Powerocks Magicstick. Woohoo! Thank you, Powerocks!

This giveaway is now over. Thanks to all who entered. The winner was Lynn in AK (Comment #7 as chosen by random.org) who will have to travel soon for her daughter’s surgery and will hopefully find this charger helpful.

Have you ever been out and about and your cell phone (or camera, portable game system, tablet, etc.) needed charged but you had no way to do so?

That has happened to me on more than one occasion, and it even happened to a friend of mine while he and his wife were visiting last week.

Thankfully, I remembered that I had just received the Powerocks Magicstick (affiliate link) in the mail two days before. It was the perfect time to test it out.

Even thought I hadn’t charged the Powerocks Magicstick up my friend’s cell phone started to charge right away.

I decided to test it out with my iPod Touch the next day. While the cord that came with the Magicstick wouldn’t work with my iPod, I was able to use my charger cord instead.

It started charging my device right away and charged it much quicker than I anticipated.

I definitely think the Powerocks Magicstick is going to be very helpful for charging my devices on the go.

I don’t have an iPhone but I do use my iTouch a lot. Thanks so much for entering this giveaway. :)

My smartphone is my most used device. Thanks for the chance to win.

My phone isn’t smart, but I do use my iTouch a lot. :) Thanks for entering.

  • Tracy Snellenberger

My IPhone is my most used device for sure. Although I love it and don’t know what I would do without it, I wish we could go back to simpler times.

    • http://www.blessingsoverflowing.com/ Jackie

I so agree with you, Tracy. It seems like all of our technology has made it so we don’t interact in person with people as much. Simpler does sound better, especially on days when I have to be on the internet so much. Thanks for entering the giveaway. Take care. :)

  • Pam

I’m an old fashioned Grandma and my only two electronic devices are my cellphone and my Kindle. But I have gotten myself “stuck” like everyone else! I wouldn’t mind winning a Powerocks Magicstick myself. Imagine what my grandkids would say! :)

    • http://www.blessingsoverflowing.com/ Jackie

:) Sounds like you are more tech savvy than some grandmas. Thanks so much for entering.

  • Crystal Nichols

My husband and my smartphones are the most used device we have. We don’t have a home phone anymore so they are our only phone.

    • http://www.blessingsoverflowing.com/ Jackie

We haven’t gotten rid of our landline because we live in the country and there isn’t completely reliable cell coverage. However, it would be nice not to have that bill each month. Thanks for entering.

I use my LG G2 smartphone most - easy to carry and has all the apps I need when on the go. Little kids’ games can zap the power in a snap.

    • http://www.blessingsoverflowing.com/ Jackie

I agree about the kids’ games zapping the power. :) Thanks for entering.

  • Lynn in AK

Definitely our iPhones are most used. Would love to win this for our time in Seattle!

You won! I hope you will find this helpful on your trip to Seattle. :)

I use my phone the most, but enjoy my Slate7 more than the phone

    • http://www.blessingsoverflowing.com/ Jackie

Tablets are pretty cool. I haven’t used the Slate7 but we enjoy our family iPad. Thanks so much for entering.

  • Abbi

I use my camera most and I think this would work well for charging it too. I have never heard of these before.

    • http://www.blessingsoverflowing.com/ Jackie

I use my camera a lot, too. Thanks so much for entering.
