Simple Cardboard Tube Marble Run

October 10, 2013 By Jackie Leave a Comment

One rainy day recently two of my boys wanted something fun to do. So, we rummaged through our recyclable items and found some cardboard tubes and an empty oatmeal container.

The boys found some marbles and we were just about set for some simple fun.

The boys used clear packing tape to arrange the cardboard tubes on one of our closet doors.

They placed the oatmeal container underneath the bottom tube to catch the marbles.

After some testing they found an arrangement that worked. They were entertained for quite a while. My 5 year old loved this the most and I was thrilled that his big brother worked with him so well.

My boys had a lot of fun with this simple marble run proving once again that fun doesn’t have to cost a thing. 🙂
