A ‘Berry’ Sweet Gift Idea

June 1, 2011 By Jackie Leave a Comment

Today is the last day of school for my three oldest children and, as usual, I sent them with gifts for their teachers.

This year we decided to give them all some homemade jam. We made labels for the lids and used stick glue to glue them on. Then we made another label and glued it to some cardstock.

Finally, we attached it to the jar with some twine. (I found the idea for this at Today’s Fabulous Finds but decided to make my own labels.)

If you would like to print your own labels that you can customize as you wish you may download them by clicking here (This is a Microsoft Word document that is editable.). You could always change the word teacher to friend or something else.

I think food gifts are great because they not only taste good but they won’t someday be considered clutter.

Last year I closed my blog Pocketful of Posies. All of the posts from Pocketful of Posies are now in the Activities for Kids category on this blog. Some of the pictures didn't transfer over, but I'm working on it.
