{Baby Learning} Peek-A-Boo

February 29, 2012 By Jackie Leave a Comment

My babies have all loved playing peek-a-boo. In fact, my 7 year old called his older sister “Boo” when he was 1 because she played peek-a-boo with him so much. 🙂

While peek-a-boo is great fun, babies are also learning the important concept of object permanence when you play it with them. Basically, this means that they are figuring out that just because they can’t see something it doesn’t mean it is gone forever.

So go ahead and play peek-a-boo with your baby and have some fun helping him or her learn.

Does your baby like to play peek-a-boo? Janna uses washcloths, towels, clothes, etc. to play peek-a-boo. 🙂
