Apple Painting

Apple Painting 1

This morning my son enjoyed painting with an apple. I gave him some paper that was used as filler in a shipment that recently came. It was free, he didn’t care that it was wrinkled, and it was spared from the trash, so it was good for the environment. 🙂

My little guy had fun painting for quite a while. He abandoned the stamping process for just moving the paint around the paper with the apple. That was alright with me. I think his apple paintings might make good wrapping paper.

I have shared this idea before, but it bears repeating. To make painting with apples easier, insert a popsicle stick in the middle of the apple half. Much easier for little hands and less messy, too.
