Are you like me and have a big box full of fabric scraps lying around? Well, today I have a project for you that uses scrap fabrics and is very simple.
This scrap fabric tutu is made with elastic and strips of fabric. It can even be no-sew if you use hot glue or a safety pin to keep the elastic together.
When I tried the tutu on Janna she was very unhappy. She does not like being my model for tutorials. (See this post for verification.)
While Janna was unhappy about her new tutu her siblings had a ball with it. However, they didn’t use it for its intended purpose.
James and Julia (Who I chose not to embarrass today with a picture.) thought the tutu made a nice hat.
Joseph decided that swinging the tutu wildly was the best way to enjoy it. He carried it all over the house swinging it.
So, as you can see making a scrap fabric tutu for a little girl in your life may end up being fun for your whole family.
