I hope you had a great week last week. I am still dealing with the strep virus and now Julia appears to have it. This sickness just wants to hang on. I am praying it takes a hike and leaves us alone very soon. I am tired of feeling sick and having no energy.
Despite not feeling well I did get a few projects completed and took a few pictures. Here’s a look at our week, in pictures.
Sunday
We have a breezeway between our garage and dining room. It’s a nice place to sit in good weather, and it makes a great place to take off muddy/snowy shoes and clothes. However, it sometimes becomes a catch-all.
I spent some time this past week cleaning it and clearing out the clutter. If you look closely you can see my painting supplies from when I painted our dining room over Christmas break. Procrastinate much?
Monday
I apparently only took this one picture on Monday. I think I was intending to write a post for my other blog about cleaning toys. Have you ever given your child(ren)’s toys a bath? Our Lego’s look much better now and I think Dora was glad to get a bath.
Tuesday
This little cutie wrapped a play silk around her and amused herself for quite a while. Janna has a pretty long attention span and is so much fun.
Wednesday
James, Joseph and Joshua apparently find this method of swinging much more fun than the traditional way. They wound themselves up and spun around so much I am surprised they were able to make it back into the house without falling.
We have been enjoying some glorious weather this week and I would be happy if it was like this all year round. These three are out having fun again today.
Thursday
Joseph has become quite the photographer and I couldn’t help taking a picture of him, taking a picture of his sister.
Friday
My mom came over on Friday to help me install a few new organizational items in our coat closet. Joseph was a big helper. He also enjoyed playing with all of the tools we were using.
Saturday
I finished the breezeway organization/cleaning project a few days ago, but just got around to taking pictures of it on Saturday. Every time I complete a project like this I am always amazed at how much better a room can look with less stuff and a little TLC (dirty carpets and all).
I decided I am not going to post my camera settings after each picture anymore. It was getting tedious to do and, until I make myself use the manual settings more, it isn’t necessary for me to remember them. Plus, I have them on my computer if I ever want to look at what settings I did use.
I hope you have a great week!
