Celebrating Our 16th Anniversary & Wishing You a Merry Christmas

December 23, 1995

16 years ago today I walked down the aisle at 3:30 in the afternoon. ”Canon in D” by Pachalbel was playing as my father escorted me toward the man who would become my husband.

When I was a little girl, I dreamed of getting married and having lots of children. I’m pretty sure that the cute guy pictured above was not who I dreamed about marrying. However, I am thankful that God answers prayers and not necessarily our dreams.

There is no present that I will unwrap or gift I will give that can compare to the gifts God has given me in the form of Jesus and my family. I pray that each of you know just how much God loves you this Christmas and always.

Tomorrow and Sunday are when I normally would be posting my review of the week’s goal and sharing a new goal for my Countdown to a New Year series. However, I am going to be spending time focusing on my family and friends. That means I am going to take the rest of the year off from posting.

I will still keep trying to meet the goals I have already made as well as spend time reflecting on the year and looking forward to the year ahead.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
